Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Listen to the recital:

Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Reflections of Spring Eternal

Bodies planted in the earth
will give birth
to resurrection flowers.
And in Spring showers,
our laughter and tears
will collide.

We reside in hope,
because the King
who sketched our sunsets
also paints the sunrise.

Open our eyes
to a life beyond the Winter,
a day beyond the grave …
When the chapter ends,
by faith we turn the page,
so that tomb becomes womb,
and cradle is transformation
of the grave.

New life emerges from the shell,
with each sound a song,
a celebration of dawn.
Leaves, green with vigour
reach up to the light,
following the path of the sun.

Hibernation for a time,
but awake now,
your slumber is done.
Renewed by the Spirit,
be still …
For in your midst
is the Holy One.

The smell of
orchards and raindrops
and being barefoot on the grass,
each season is a new chance,
don’t let the moment pass.

A chance to live again,
to the fullest and
try to get things right.
Joy comes in the morning,
as the Father finds a spark
in your ash,
and breathes into you
New Life!
