In the shadow of the night,
Caught in the acts of yesterday…
The emptiness within
comes without delay…
A lesson to be taught
To the young…
It took only one deed
then loneliness
apart… from the loved ones of your heart…
Acts of yesterday,
for you to remember.
Your mistakes, compressed in a lonely cry!
On your knees,
appealing to the throne…
To conceive the answer of the value of life,
when you are all alone…
The only way to correct the acts of yesterday,
is to plan the outcome of your tomorrow…
Then happiness will be the end…
With no regrets or sorrow…
Perceivable in sparkling eyes,
is your indemnity through the Holy Spirit alone…
All to receive from God on your knees,
before His throne…
Then the acts of yesterday,
are footprints that lead to gold…
This is my story to be told.
