Listen to the recital:

Shiloh
(Place of rest)

I know a guy, always on the lookout
for splinters in the eye of the next man.
I guess he’s bored of the plank in his own eye.
That’s why, when miracles arise, he only saw dust.

You don’t have to be a giant to carry a grudge.
I choose not to fuss, because in the land of milk and honey,
every path has a puddle of tears.
With my pockets empty, stepping lightly, I’m jumping through my fears.

You can stash your judgements – I’m rolling with my covenant,
which is a resting place transcending time and space
where eternity reflects in the eye of a child.
Blood is hot for a reason – because the heart is a hearth –
and death is just another birth
connected to the sacrament of living.

Forgiveness is healing, so take a sip of salvation,
and keep dancing in the rain as the storm clouds gather.
Peace is a four letter word and it’s free…
(Love)
