Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
What is Truth?
As a youngster, I asked my father:
“Dad, what is ‘Truth’?”
“What the laws of science and nature does.”
I believed him. It made sense.
No bother. No Fuss.
Then I started searching for something
I could base my life on.
Something intangible, unseen…
Laws of values, principles?
Something pure and clean?
Then “Truth” found me.
In a very unclean book.
A third heaven in the Bible?
I definitely had to have a look!
I searched in my husband’s Bible.
The Tthird heaven in there is true!
Amazed and intensely interested,
This, I must, I need to read through!
There I found the “Absolute Truth”!
In the form of Jesus Christ, the Son.
Unseen, unheard, “Truth” reached out to me,
Cleansed me and lifted me up to the Holy One!
In the Way, the Truth, and Life said He.
No one comes to the Father, but through Me.
I found this to be so absolutely TRUE!
In bad thought and deed, I became totally free!
My praise and worship to You I bring!
Adoring songs of love to You I sing!
In my life You changed everything!
To You, my “Truth”, I will forever cling!
Halleluja!
