There are moments in parenting when we stand at multiple crossroads between frustration and understanding, correction and connection, urgency and grace.
When a child struggles with emotional regulation, learning, transitions, communication or daily expectations, adults often feel pressure to fix, correct or control the situation quickly. It often turns into a power- and control struggle that put the household harmony in disarray!
One of the gentlest and most powerful approaches we can hold onto, is to place connection before correction.
